On Friday, July 19, SmartLab hosted the Founder 2 Founders event, focusing on "The Future of
Work": Upskilling and Reskilling for Digital Success. This event brought together industry leaders,
innovators, and entrepreneurs to discuss the future of work and the role of upskilling in
navigating today’s digital landscape.

During the event, SmartLab announced its new program, SmartLab Learning, to address the
critical skills gap in Tanzania. SmartLab Learning will offer physical classes that provide practical
skills and empower individuals and organisations to thrive in today's competitive environment.

SmartLab’s Business Director, Mr Larry Ayo, emphasised that the platform aims to solve the
issue of inadequate skills development, stating, “Our platform exists to bridge the skills gap and
empower individuals and organisations to excel in an evolving job market.” Upon completion,
participants will receive certifications and gain valuable experience.
